Welcome to the inaugural Women's History Month Blog Hop! I'm so proud to be able to part of such a great group of crafters. It's a blessing to have women around you that inspire you to be better in many areas, including crafting. This is a season where women's issues have really come into the international arena in ways I have never seen. It was this thought that made me think of something I could do in order to create and inspire more love and kindness around me.
I was fortunate enough to discover the world of crafting through my sister in law who is a huge crafty inspiration to me. I have since discovered joy in all things inky. I truly enjoyed this card series because it gave me opportunities to paint and not worry about the card making process as much as I normally would. It was peaceful, calming and addicting to color in bed, watch a movie, binge watch Netflix shows while just taking the time to live out my passion. I'm grateful to the women in my life that have given so much of themselves, passionately so that I may, in turn, teach my daughter to live passionately.
Cheers to all of you who inspire me and others daily!
Keep on crafting. I hope you enjoy the hop!
The image in this card, #power inspires me. I bought it last year from http://pinkbowties.biz/shop-2/. Lameka Alston, the owner is a creative genius. Her images reflect real life and real people and I always find something that give me pause. This image, with the non-standard yoga body makes me feel stronger, that when I practice yoga, when I go to my mat, that it doesn't matter what the outside of my body says to people, but what I can achieve on my mat. My cousin, a plus size yoga practitioner was my biggest inspiration for this card and my yoga practice.
Now grab a cup of something, sit back and enjoy our crafty goodness. Leave us a comment and sharing is caring!
